KYIV, June 2, 2015. The X Congress of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine held under the slogan "Ukraine tomorrow" was finished. More than 200 representatives of influential Ukrainian business, leading European and Ukrainian politicians and experts, and heads of business associations of other countries took part in this event.
During the discussion panels of the Congress were discussed the European and Ukrainian vision for the Ukrainian economic recovery from a protracted crisis. Panellists discussed new economic policy and steps which permit to put an end to deindustrialization in Ukraine, to stop the decline in production and, subsequently, to improve the welfare of Ukrainian people. Particular interest was aroused by the discussion panel devoted to the labour potential and its role in enhancing the competitiveness of Ukraine.
At the Congress the attention was paid to the Agency for modernisation of Ukraine initiated by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, Ukrainian trade unions, leading European experts and academics in March 2015. The first result of the Agency for modernisation of Ukraine should become a comprehensive view to the priority areas of socio-economic development of Ukraine, which will be implemented in the Programme for modernisation of Ukraine. A significant focus of the Programme is on implementing innovative potential, business development and infrastructure improvements. It is quite ambitious, but Ukraine should reach these realistic goals in 10 years due to implementation of Programme for modernisation of Ukraine.
